【中考實例】

　　考例1：【2008年南京市中考英語試題-68】

　　 Look! Two________(monkey) are fighting for food over there.

　　【分析】：所給的詞monkey是可數(shù)名詞的單數(shù)形式，根據(jù)主謂一致可知，應填名詞的復數(shù)形式，monkey的復數(shù)形式是monkeys，而不是monkeies，因此應填monkeys。

　　考例2：【2009年廣州市中考英語試題-IX .4.】

　　Many new       (potato) will grow from one potato planted in the ground.

　　【分析】：根據(jù)句意可知，應該用potato的復數(shù)形式，而spaceman的復數(shù)形式是potatoes， 因此應填potatoes。

　　考例3：【2005年泰州市】 Your present is in one of the ____. Can you guess? (box)

　　【分析】：所給的詞box是可數(shù)名詞的單數(shù)形式，根據(jù)習慣表達 "one of the +可數(shù)名詞復數(shù)"可知，應填名詞的復數(shù)形式，box的復數(shù)形式是boxes，因此應填boxes。

　　考例4：【2009年無錫市中考英語試題-四.1】

　　The three ______(spaceman) of Shenzhou VII Space ship were warmly welcomed in Hong Kong.

　　【分析】：根據(jù)句意可知，應該用spaceman的復數(shù)形式，而spaceman的復數(shù)形式應該是spacemen，不是spacemans 因此應填spacemen。

　　考例5：【2009年宿遷市中考英語試題-53】

　　There are more___________(sheep) in Australia than in Japan.

　　【分析】： 根據(jù)句意可知，應用sheep的復數(shù)形式，而sheep的單復數(shù)都是sheep，即單復數(shù)形式一致，因此應填sheep。注意：不要在sheep后面加s。

　　考例6：【2009年常州市中考英語試題-39】

　　How many times do you brush your ________(tooth) every day?

　　【分析】：所給的詞tooth是可數(shù)名詞的單數(shù)形式，根據(jù)句意可知，應用名詞的復數(shù)形式，而tooth的復數(shù)形式是不規(guī)則的，為teeth，因此應填teeth。
